JavaScript Feedback Search

An updated, compact user interface, created for the LA Times special sections area. Redesigned using semanticly coded XHTML and CSS, featuring a CSS tabbed navigation and a search interface using degradable Javascript to provide instant feedback upon search submit.

The entire UI was created with the intent to keep the layout compact, out of the way of the content, while maintaining a neutral ascetic. The UI and special section’s area as a whole easily melds with LA’s overall design spec and Identity.

This site is part of the greater LA Times website and is used as needed. A partial-functioning demo/prototype will be available shortly.
